Pouring Passion: Joseph’s Journey with Every Sip

Let us introduce you to Joseph! He’s been with Every Sip for the past 18 months, but his experience in the liquor world goes back much further. A seasoned bartender of over 22 years, he brings a deep love for people, flavor, and the kind of experiences that only a great drink can unlock.

Joseph’s journey to Every Sip began with a simple conversation. While working a tasting event for another company at one of the Top Ten liquor stores in the area, he met a fellow ambassador who happened to represent Every Sip. She spoke so highly of the team and the work that he felt compelled to learn more. That quick chat turned into an opportunity and the opportunity turned into a role where he thrives.

What drew him in was the chance to make people happy by introducing them to something new. Whether it’s a brand they’ve never heard of or a product they wouldn’t typically pick for themselves, he gets a genuine kick out of expanding people's palates and perspectives.

Joseph especially enjoys events that bring together multiple vendors and products. The variety, the buzz, the discovery, it all feeds his passion. One brand he loves sampling out is Shanky’s Whip. It’s still flying under the radar for many, which makes every introduction a fun challenge. Vodkas and bourbons are close to his heart as well, offering versatility and the chance to spark great conversations.

Every Sip, Joseph says, keeps his skills sharp and his knowledge growing. Even after years behind the bar, he continues to learn new things, explore new products, and connect with customers in ways that feel fresh and authentic. A particularly memorable moment? An event he recently worked on a boat floating down the St. Croix River. With familiar faces, a festive crowd, and the sun sparkling off the water, it was the kind of experience that reminds you just how joyful this work can be.

Outside of tastings, Joseph lives a full and vibrant life. He’s a lifelong music lover who plays guitar and bass and has attended concerts regularly for the last 40 years. Sports are also a big part of his world, football, hockey, and baseball especially and when summer rolls around, he heads into nature for camping trips that let him unplug and recharge.
