For the past six years, Renee has been a vibrant part of the Every Sip family, bringing her signature warmth, curiosity, and Cabernet level depth to every tasting table she touches.
A Friendship That Sparked a Journey
Long before she put on her first Every Sip badge, Renee already had a connection to founder Stephanie Payne. The two met while Stephanie was still working in the nonprofit world, weaving networks and relationships like the community rooted leader she is today.
So when Stephanie mentioned she was launching what was then Vine Times, Renee’s interest piqued immediately.
“I was intrigued by the concept and wanted to support her,” she recalls.
Fast forward a bit, Renee leaves her corporate career to build a more flexible, fulfilling portfolio life. And what better match than becoming a brand ambassador?

Why She Loves What She Does
For Renee, Every Sip is more than talking tannins or pouring samples. It’s the people.
“I enjoy getting out and meeting store managers and customers,” she says. “Obtaining feedback from tasters is a critical part of the job and can be a lot of fun, too!”

When asked to choose a favorite brand, Renee practically laughs. How could she pick just one?
From legendary California names like Wagner, Benziger, Imagery, and Vineyard Partners to cocktail-ready favorites like OTR and local treasures like Keepers Heart and Crooked Water, she enjoys exploring them all.
But if you hand her a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, she’s a happy woman.

One of the most rewarding parts of Renee’s work is being the bridge between customers and the creators behind their new favorite bottles.
“When someone loves a product and decides to purchase it immediately, it’s so rewarding,” she says. Whether it’s a celebratory bottle or a “just in case” pick, helping people expand their beverage repertoire is a passion she brings into every interaction.
A Night to Remember: Taste of Lakeville
Renee has worked countless events over the years, but the annual Taste of Lakeville always makes her highlight reel.
Hundreds of guests. Nine different products. Live music. A bustling crowd.
“It was hectic, fast paced, and exhausting & and we laughed together through the night!”
Her favorite part? Helping attendees relax, have fun, and support their city. Community, celebration, and a splash of chaos = the perfect combination.
Life Beyond the Tasting Table
When she’s not sharing her favorite wines, Renee is crafting unforgettable experiences in her own home. She’s a dinner-party visionary, think stunning tablescapes, customized menus, and a perfectly chosen appetizer the moment guests walk in.
And professionally?
She’s a powerhouse ghostwriter with a mission: helping small business owners communicate clearly and consistently without sounding like an AI bot.
